Why Piano's pitch change?

Unfortunately, no matter how expertly a piano is tuned, atmospheric variations and the nature of the piano's construction constantly conspire to bring it off pitch.----

What is Pitch Raise?

When you did not get your piano tuned for a long time, the pitch
drops away from where it should be, and it becomes harder for a piano tuner to pull it up to its proper tension levels.-----

Why my room climate (Humidity) is important?

Your piano will perform best under consistent conditions neither too wet nor dry, optimally at a temperature of 68 degrees F and 42 percent relative humidity.Extreme swings from hot to cold or dry to wet are harmful to your piano. Dryness causes the piano's pitch to go flat; moisture makes it go sharp. Repeated swings in relative humidity can cause soundboards to crack or distort. ----  http://www.ptg.org/Scripts/4Disapi.dll/4DCGI/cms/review.html?Action=CMS_Document&DocID=61&MenuKey=Menu7
